Sometimes we get an idea that needs a whole new vocabulary to describe it. In this case, we came up with a seating concept that’s for a group of up to five. So in that respect we’ve come up with another form of sofa. Only, instead of one chair, our focus is on what happens when five individual chairs create a circular formation that brings people together. Writer Arthur Koestler had a word for this – « Holon » – in his celebrated book The Act of Creation. It refers to situations when something is both complete in itself, and part of something larger.
