” My work centers around the image of women,both as seen and as shown. While my earlier paintings explored fashion-based stereotypes of femininity, my recent series engages with how women are framed as the Other, especially through cultural and visual narratives. In this process, the representation of women becomes distor ted,both through self-perception and through the lens of others. I remain deeply rooted in painting as both a medium and a language. My practice values slowness and materiality in contrast to the fleeting images of contemporar y media. Each piece becomes a site of negotiation,between surface and depth, visibility and erasure, personal narrative and collective imagery. “
