” Amid the city, the pine stands both familiar and estranged; its presence sometimes tall and upright, sometimes short and fractured. This recurring migrant seems to have witnessed a naked truth that our eyes have overlooked—a truth it quietly shares with us through its silent gaze. This collection is the outcome of a year and a half of contemplation and exploration. Through the repetition of lines and the pursuit of diverse forms, I have sought to arrive at a fresh and distinctive perspective on this subject. “
