About the Collection — Out of Life
Out of Life explores the quiet exhaustion of everyday life and the way our attention is constantly directed everywhere except toward life itself.
The characters appear tired, detached, and emotionally distant. Energy drink cans repeatedly appear throughout the series—consumed one after another, while the figures themselves remain visibly drained. For the artist, these cans become a metaphor for the things we rely on to keep going, while life itself is slowly being consumed.
Crumpled paper is an essential part of this narrative. Its fragile and unstable quality becomes both skin and body, giving the figures a sense that they could collapse at any moment.
