About the Artist
Fatemeh Mozafari (Fito) is an Iranian visual artist with an MA in Visual Communication from the University of Art in Tehran. Her practice began in graphic design and visual communication and gradually expanded into contemporary visual art.
In recent years, her work has focused on painting, collage, and relief. Working primarily with paper, she explores the space between two- and three-dimensional forms. Crumpling, layering, texture, and distortion are central to her visual language, allowing the image to move beyond the flat surface and take on a physical presence.
